37057 at Ryecroft
37057 drops through Ryecroft with the 6G55 Bloxwich - Bescot trip at 10:23 on Monday 23rd July 2001. At this stage the train was still formed of Cargowaggons. In later years these were replaced by OAA/OBA/VAA/VBA four-wheelers, which were in turn supplanted by VGA/VKA vans until the traffic finished in 2006. The trackwork here has been re-aligned in recent years, with the Cannock line now coming directly towards the camera, eliminating the reverse curve which was an artefact of the earlier four-track layout.
