There were several Class 08 movements to and from Bescot in the week of Monday 3rd March 2014, all done by road of course. 08632 arrived from Hoo Jct on Tuesday 4th, with 08623 going the other way. Then on Wednesday 5th 08428 departed, this one going to Toton. The photo shows 428, and was taken at 13:40 as final preparations were made for departure. The movement of shunting locos by road has now been underway for over 25 years, and is no longer a novelty for enthusiasts or the local residents.
